lyrics
She waits as his last fleeting thought
Filters to gray...
And she left his apartment.
So she thinks to herself
"This can't be right."
She gave her best yet she never was alive.
It's been 4 whole years since...
The light's been on and
She knew she could come home.
Her memories seem to haunt her
everyday.
The past is a demon stuck inside her brain.
"Yet, this is what I must do..."
She says as
She catches a cab headed out of town.
"There!" she shouts,
"Stop the car!"
She pays the driver and runs towards the hill.
The weeping tree...
The weeping tree...
She comes to a hault
In awe, she thinks
"This tree... makes me feel so alive."
So she presses her head
to its trunk
and listens to its heart.
"Oh my God
What a life
What a tragic, sad, sad life."
"And now I wonder...
What's the point?
There's really no use in living anymore."
So she climbs the tree
and ties a knot out of
the old swing that once hung there.
"And this is where I belong..."
The weeping tree...
The weeping tree...
